I would really like to see a digital input on the next rotel CD player. Being able to plug my music server into the Rotel so it can run through the DACs of the CD player would be a killer feature.

You know the more I thnk about thisthe more I really want this feature in my next CD player. There is such a huge market out there for people with music servers even just the MP3 croud. I would easily pay a premium to have this part of the spec.
Does anyone know if rotel is working on a new CD player?

After NAD and Cambridge Audio is Arcam finally going 'to the dark side' and is going to release a SACD player. I wonder how long it will take before Rotel will issue one as well (and realise they just released their RDV-1092 a bit early?).
