    Rotel rmb-1075 or 1095 ???

First, I think I am going to sell my seperates(Adcoms) and go with a multi-amp for now. I have a silver rsp-1066 so I want a matching amp and dvd player.
My concern is if the rmb-175 @ 125 watts per channel can do my Polk LSi9s(front speakers) justice. The LSi9 speaker is a power-hungry speaker that produces wonderful results when fed properly. Currently, I am pushing them with an Adcom GFA-555ii(200 watts per channel) which sounds pretty good.

I have no doubt the rmb-1095 will do the trick but I dont know the potential of the 1075. Another solution would be to go with the 1080 to push the fronts and then use the 1075 for everything else but then i could have purchased one 1095 for what I spend on the 2 amps.
    Suggestions?

Consider the rmb-1076 as well. It's a D-class model. My experience is that D-class 100 watts are deceptively formidable. Performs closer to 200watts of an AB class.

    Cooler and lighter too.

Being that the Lsi9's are a 4ohm speaker, I think the RMB-1075 would push them fine.

        Hello,

I got the 1075 and the 1080 and did a test on my YAMAHA NS-1000 http://www.thevintageknob.org/YAMAHA...0/NS1000.html# (8 ohm, SPL 90db/W/m I could not ear any diffrence between the 2 amps at reference listening volume. If your speakers are difficult do drive then you should consider the 1080 for the mains.

The 1075 will probably be fine. Or go digital - the newer amps are incredibly small and efficient, and able to track very low impedance speakers. The 1095 is a beast!

Get a RB1080 to run the fronts then a rmb1095 to run everything else. the 1075 will do fine mated with a rb1070. Now that if you have 7 channels. If not then the rmb1095 will be more then enough for even the largest of rooms.

I own the rmb1095 and had a full LSi series system. I owned the Lsi 15's, 9's , center , and LSI fx for rears. The 9's I used for 2 channel and swapped back and forth with the 15's for theater. I perferred the 15's overall and sold the 9's. Then I switched to Dynaudio Audience series.

I also owned B&K avr307 and had a st140 for 2 channel. Both worked extremely well with the LSI series.

Rotel and Lsi go together very well. It's alittle life (brightness) that the Lsi's can use. The Lsi's are very laid back and comfortable to listen 2.

                Is Rotel RMB 1095 amp really 5 x 200 Watt ?
                by bleeding ears
                Hi guys and gals,

Having had quite a bit of time on my hands waiting patiently for my brand new RSP 1068 to arrive, (1st one was dead on arrival) I was reading over my Rotel brochure and noticed the RMB 1095 is rated at 5 x 200 watts. (which equals 1000 watts)

                Hi all,

I'm a newbie to this forum but thought I would post one of my concerns to see what all of you had to say. I just purchased the RMB-1095 last week. Great sounding amp paired with my Def Techs and Denon 3805.

However, I have one concern which Rotel doesn't seem...
