RSX-1067 and Upgraded Power Cable

Hoping for some guidance and have not been able to find in of the posts here. How do I upgrade the power cable for my RSX-1067. All the upgraded power cables have the ground connector - whereas the Rotel does not. It there a specific company that makes cables/adapters?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Why do you need to upgrade? The factory cable is shielded and works just fine.

If you want to experiment with different power cables, any of them that are a standard IEC on the receiver end will work. The third ground prong will do nothing and harm nothing.

I would invest in a quality power conditioner like the Rotel RLC-1040 before trying power cable upgrades. Or try both at the same time. The Line Conditioner will give you more bang for the buck. I found thats all I needed and gave me a very smooth sounding system with less distortion. A large difference. :sn Exotic power cables MAY have lowered the noise floor after much swapping of cables. A difference?:huh: Of course I did not demo any power cable over $150. Good listening. Regards, Russ

the RLC-1040 performs measurable (can be seen on test equipment) improvements to the utility (wall power) no smoke and mirrors - 100% science and I find it to be an important element in any system, think of it as an essential piece of gear...
