    what is it called?

    Hi,

I have an RX-950 AX. I would like to be able to output to three sets of speakers in different rooms. I know there is a specific piece of equipment that I need, but I cant remember what it is called. Is there a certain model that would be particularly compatible with my receiver?

    thanks,

    david

Sounds like you're looking for an impedance matching speaker switcher. They're all basically resistors with buttons, so any one that can handle the wattage you're pushing will be fine.

I would try to find one with a selectable protection mode. Switchers will degrade the sound quality and being able to disable it when listening to only one set of speakers is a plus.

        Disable sub on Multi input?
        by Mike_T_
I apologize ahead on this if it's been covered..but I can't see a way to turn the sub off, for only the multi input..is it possible? The 1.50 update I just installed says that you can now disable the sub for individual inputs.

        Macrovision disable for Arcam DV88+
        by John LaCava
Apparently you can disable the macrovison on the DV88+ by entering the setup menu and keying in "2010".

and you can set the CRT mode to yes or no.

I have been led to believe that setting this to yes, disables macrovison, but I believe it only does so on the component...

modding Rythmik Audio A350 plate amp to disable crossover
        by mazurek
Here's a pic showing how I mod'ed the Rythmik audio plate amp to remove its crossover. I'm not sure where the volume control part is, I modified it to connect the input directly to the amp module. As shown, input impedence is ~ 28KOhm, and gain is somewhere from 33-35 dB. I wouldn't do the mod if...

Hi, I just got my hands on a rmd -1075 mk2 and I need to disable the front power button and wire in a makeshift one without cutting/removing anything.

The reason being my youngest child loves turning the buttons on and off on other equipment. I have had to locate my current receiver into...
