    RSP-1098 TFT Display HELP

I know I must be missing something. I was changing the settings for the display and somehow turned if off. How do you get the display to come back on when you can not see the display to activate it?

I know there must be a simple solution but I have not found it yet.

    Thanks for the help. ;x(

OK sorry everyone, I got it back. It is like flying blind. Go through the same steps with remote as if one was looking at the screen and turn OSD on to TFT. Too bad, should be a easier way.

To all, I enjoy the forum very much. I am new to Rotel and recently purchased the DSP-1098 and RMB-1075 along with a Cambridge Audio 540c V2 player. It was my first upgrade in many years. All sounds very well with my Klipsch Forte I, now 20 yrs old. Oh I did upgrade the crossovers this year.

    Thanks again to all.

When the first allowed the TFT to be turned off they did add a quick key combination to get it back. I can't remember what it was, but hopefully someone who routinely turns it off can chime in.

      Hello!

Did you tried to press the Menu key for a while?

If it doesn't work I can go step by step on mine to give you exact keys to press.

Yves, I did do the step by step thing and now have the TFT back. Really should be a short cut to get it back?

        Thanks

Did you try to press and hold the Menu button?

I'm pretty sure it's the right thing to do in that case.

Iggurk, no I did not hold the menu button any longer than I would normally. Should I mess things up again I will try your suggestion.
            Much thanks

Hello! I have the same problem. To hold the menu button does not work. What is the another way? Thanks to all in advance.

                RSP1098 TFT display activation.
                by >>Angel<<
                Hi,

I recently bought the RSP1098 (next to the RMB1075) in combination with the RDV1060, what a nice combination this is . However I do have some issues/questions:

                - How can I enable color on the TFT display when DVD video is passed (via composite video) to the 1098?...

RSP-1582 TFT display turns on/off when there's no audio
                by cliffwells
                Hello,

I just received an upgraded RSP-1582 v02. Everything is working well except for an annoying issue with the TFT display: if there's no audio signal, it turns on every 10 seconds or so, stays on for about 10 seconds, and then turns off again.

                - I have the display set to...

Example Screen Shots of C1 TFT Display
                by Chris D
As promised, I took some pictures of my C1 TFT display screen. Please excuse the blurriness on the close-ups. These are actually the first screen shots I've ever tried to take of anything. It was really interesting to me how light levels showed up COMPLETELY different in the pictures from what they...

                RSP 1098 TFT Stretches 4:3
                by btully
Some of my DVDs are 4:3. However, whatever I do, the 1098's TFT display stretches this material the full width of the display. I do, however, get a proper 4:3 ratio from my monitor when I take the composite signal that is feeding the TFT and use it to feed the monitor. Is this something lacking in...

Shootout : Parasound C2 vs Rotel 1098 (long)
                by DrBoom
Well, it's been almost 2 months now that I've lived with both my Rotel RSP1098 and my Parasound C2 and the time for deciding which I'm going to keep is almost at hand.(not that I HAVE to decide now for some reason, but I'd hate to end up with 2 processors permanently)
I actually own both of them,...
