RB985.... any ideas on a trigger solution?

I just got the RB985 from audiogon, and I love this thing. But If I leave it on its a freakin space heater. So seeing that it doesnt have a trigger, I need a lazy way to turn it off...
Maybe use the switched outlet on my HK AVR340 some how?
But how? I have no idea...

You would need to trigger a switchable power strip with the switched outlet as it won't pass enough power for the 985.

Check out this thread and ask him which model he went with:

They might have one with a 110v outlet style trigger. If not, a 12v power supply plugged into the switched outlet will be able to trigger the model he purchased.

That or something similar. A regular relay won't pass enough power, same as the switched outlet.

The Rotel RLC-900 will do the same, but it's $200.
