    Focal chorus 826v?

was wondering if anyone has heard these speakers.I went to the local sound advice(tweeters) and they had the 826v's so i listened for a short while and they were impressive. They did'nt have the 816's which is what i wanted to listen to but regardless they were really great sounding.has anyone heard these. Now i'm debating if i should opt for these instead of the 804's.I had been thinking about upgrading from 603s3's and lcr600 to used 804's and htm1 center in the future but now i just dont know.Any opinions or insights.

I used to have 816 as my 1st setup, but haven't heard the 826v. Didn't the stereophile just had review on them ? in any case there was a lot of things said about them.
I resently let go of my 804 due little one running around (too afraid could demage them), but I don't think they could even be compaired. I loved my 804S and one day I'll get them back or 802 :>

I thought the 826V are exceptional speakers. I heard them and I a/b them against the more expensive Focal 918 and I thought they were a tad darker and slightly less resolute, but I thought they were just as musical.

      Lovely speakers.

yes, the v is the new line. Thats what I was looking at before pulled the plug on Klipsch. I only went for Klipsch because of the deal that I recieved from someone that works for them., or it would be the new v line for me.

I have the old 816S (named Cobalt before the change to Chorus V) so I can't tell exactly if they are the same, but I'm very happy with them.

They have an exceptionally good quality/price ratio, so I don't understand very well why you compare them with the B&W 800's that are far more expensive.

I heard the 800's at my dealer and they are superb, but the price could double up the Focals.

If I had money and wife permission :W I would probably go for the B&W but not without listen to them together.

My recommendation: try to find a place where you can compare both in the same conditions and then decide wich one you like most (if money doesn't matter for you).

I visited two high end AV dealers today to make my final decision as to which pair of speakers I would buy for the stereo system that I'm putting together. This sytem will be used primarily for playing LPs and will initially consist of the following: Aragon 24K II preamp with phono stage, or a Classe...

Let me first say Hi! My name is Mike and I'm sure I'll be hanging around here quite often now as I get sucked even further into this monstrous money pit. After I got my first entry level system about 7 months ago, I've been getting deeper and deeper in. Now after having had some Dynaudio 52s at the...

              B&W 683 vs FC 816V vs KEF iQ7
              by Klaus<n
Hi everyone, I'd like to ask for your advice on the speakers I'm about to buy. I've tested the B&W 683, the Focal Chorus 816V and the KEF iQ7. My impression is that B&W takes the cake slightly but I want to hear from you.

Second, I've been offered to use with the B&W 3 choices...
