A couple of things you can check:

    1) Check to see that the toggle switch in the rear is on.

    2) Check the dip switches (used to upgrade firmware) in the rear near the middle, are set to the off position.

    3) Check the power cord to ensure it's firmly seated and plug into a different electrical outlet.

Hopefully, it's one of these things that has posed an issue and not a power supply or board issue.

Just my quick thoughts, keep us posted.

    Peace and blessings,

    Azeke

thanks for the quick reply ...

I checked everything you said except for the dip switches. Would these somehow reset themselves.

Working fine then go to turn it on and nothing.

        Hello!

Could be only the fuse too, but require to open the box, so be carefull where you put your fingers.

          No, they wouldn't reset themselves.

Perhaps you can provide a little more history to help improve trouble-shooting techniques.

            RSP1098 TFT display activation.
            by >>Angel<<
            Hi,

I recently bought the RSP1098 (next to the RMB1075) in combination with the RDV1060, what a nice combination this is . However I do have some issues/questions:

            - How can I enable color on the TFT display when DVD video is passed (via composite video) to the 1098?...

I like to share some of recent experience with my new 3D TV setup with my current Rotel RSP1098/RMB1095 setup. I am hoping this information is useful for anyone with the same configuration out there that are interested to take the 3D plunge.

I had not been very active in the last couple...

            Upgraded Power Cord for RSP-1098?
            by wa5655
            Hi, all.

I am ready to upgrade the power cord for my RSP1098. However, most after market cord has a 3 vertical pin IEC connector on the end goes into the RSP1098. The OEM cord only have vertical 2 pins. (not C7-rounded)
Any ideas where to find an adaptor for it? I have searched...
