I have a RDA-975 hooked up to a RSP-980. Any time that the RDA-975 detects a 5.1 signal it hums through the speakers. It gets pretty bad when the volume hits 11:00.
If I turn the volume down the hum goes away. Or at least you can't hear it. But in stereo mode it isn't buzzing?
I believe the humming is coming from the rda-975 and not the RDA 980 becouse when I use a dvd player with the 5.1 into the RDA 980 it doesn't happen.
Help?
Whe I unplug the Digital Coax from the dvd player to the RDA 975 the humming stopped?

It was a bad s-video cable. It was picking something up from the other wires.
