Serial Cable?
Does anyone know how to get a replacement serial cable for updating firmware on the 1068? I think mine was accidentally tossed out during a recent move?

I believe they're $15 through Rotel, but maybe if you asked nicely? FWIW, it's worth it considering the odd pinout.

I did the same thing with my cable. I wasted a lot of time looking for one at computer stores (should've went to Rotel in the first place) and couldn't find one.Originally posted by Tim_D

First question, does this unit provide the verbose feedback that other Rotel units do? I'd love feedback on volume status, input selection etc.
I am trying to control it with Crestron and having problems. I am not sure if the problem is my hacked together cable or the serial strings...
