    Hum/buzz, am I going crazy?

To reference another thread, I'm noticing a hum coming from my 1068, roughly around the power supply area. Is this normal operation and I'm losing it, or should this be cause for concern. It isn't loud enough to hear when I'm seated, but you can notice it when you get up to the unit.

    Thanks

It falls under 'normal' depending on your power. I've heard of several amps, processors, etc buzzing from the transformer. Some was low voltage from the power company and I think one was a refrigerator in another part of the house.

I wouldn't worry about it unless it's just driving you nuts. If it is, try bringing the unit to another place (and not in your neighborhood) and see if it buzzes there. If so Rotel might want to check it out.

      Hi,

I am getting an audible buzz coming through my fronts. I am sure it is the amp as it is present with all other equipment switched off and it does not change when I turn on the processor or DVD etc.

Is this a common fault with this amp? Does any one have any tips...
