    RSP 1068 not passing HDTV

There is a clear issue with my 1068. I have my cable box hooked up via component to my 1068. When on HiDef channels the picure blacks out every 30 seconds or so.

An obvious fix would be to plug my cable right into my TV, but if I do there I wont be able to access my OSD from the rotel unless I run another 3 meter component cabl from my 1068 to tv...which I shouldnt have to do.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

Any component source greater then 480i needs to have progressive set to 'YES' in the setup menu. You probably missed that step.

ok...that worked. As long as the OSD is off the HDTV passthrough is ok.

        Thanks

Setting it to yes actually does 'less' to the signal. As you found out, the OSD only works when the signal is 480i. Otherwise it tries to put it up and messes up the signal.

Something odd occurred while setting up my 1068 I picked up the other day.

First off - I run my HDTV signal directly to a Pioneer Elite Pro-510HD (2 component video ins available).

My DVD, XBOX, and PS2 run through the 1068 and back out to the second component in on the...

Well I finally plunge. I bought a Parasound A52 & a Rotel RSp 1068 this weekend. My credit card hurts but my ears and eyes love it

Anyways, I am having a problem with up-conversion of my tv box. In Other Options, I set progressive to V1 (DVD). The TV box is connected to Video 4....
