    adding a 2 channel amp

i just bought a rotel rsx 1057,2 klipsch floorstanding rf 63's and a center channel rf 62.i will be adding surround speakers later. for now i mainly listening to cd's. any ideas of a 2 channel amp that i could add for just for the 2 floor speakers? the rf 63's take 175 watts and the rotel in stereo mode gives out 100.it sounds great but i dont want to underpower them.budget is around $500 though!!!

I just bought a RB1070 on audiogon for $425. Great amp in my opinion.

1070 would a be a good amp for under $500.. find it used on audiogon... or contact me as I may have a mint 1070 for sale.

          Adding second amp
          by miner
I currently have a Rotel RB-1070 amp and RC-1070 preamp. I am considering adding another RB-1070 to biamp my N804. My ASW800 sub is using the second pre outs on my preamp. If I were to add another amp how would I hook my sub up since the second pre out would be used for second amp?

          by bleeding ears
I cannot seem to find any info on the watts rms output of the 1070 amp when using 4 ohm speakers, anyone know ?

Better still, does anyone know of any reviews of the 1070 amp ?

          Thanks

          RB-1070 Amp
          by drsiebling
          Hello everyone!

I've been reading a lot of comments on the site regarding the Rotel RB-1070 amp. It seems that many of you feel that this is an underpowered amp. I am considering one to pair with a RSX-1056 to drive my current B&W DM602s3 front speakers. I do plan on upgrading...

          Adding an Amp to RA-1570
          by thyname
          Hi everyone!

I have a RA-1570. Just bought a pair of B&W CM10s this weekend, as I got a good deal used.

While the RA-1570 is no slouch, and drives the CM10s sufficiently, I am already thinking of upgrading and adding an Amp, such as RB-1582 MKII. A little more juice...

          by Greg K
This is kinda weird, wondering if anyone else has experienced any thing like this.System is a 1055 reciever approx 1.5 months old, and a 1070 amp for the front channels, about 5 months old.Noticed yesterday that I have had to turn down the normal TV/ Satt viewing volumn about 5 to 6 #'s.Nothing has changed...
