Rsp 1068 Standby Mode
hi guys my 1068 power on light used to only come when being used & switch off when in standby mode.now its on all the time.is it something to worry about?

I believe it's supposed to be on all the time. Only off when you power it off from the back?!!?
Not positive, but that's how my 1098 works, I would think the 1068 is the same.Digital Audio makes me Happy.

My 1068 front LED, is on at all time in standby mode, unless you turn the switch on back to off that is the only time the LED is gone. Hope this will answer your question.Comment

I can get the following combinations for the same price:
(a) RSP-1066 AV pre/pro + RMB-1095 5x200 amp; or
(b) RSP-1068 AV pre/pro + RMB-1075 5x130w amp
The ideal combination would be the RSP-1068 + RSP-1095, but that's beyond my budget for... -
I upgraded my hifi gears to Rotels in June. The RSP-1068 was an obvious choice and tested it with RMB-1075 amp too. Is it possible to switch the 5 or 7 channel stereo mode with a Dolby Digital 2.0 sound track? I can only engage it when its either an analogue signal or a stereo pcm signal. Any ideas.

I've got the 1068/1095 combo and I'm building a stereo pair of Dipole subs with 8 Atlas 15's. I've just recently discovered the sound quality of the bypass mode listening to CD's. Problem is, I really would like to utilize my new Dipole Subs while using bypass mode. Would it work if I used a Y splitter...
