    Thanks for your help

I'd just like ot say thanks to all of the forum members for their advice over the last couple of weeks. I did have my heart set on new rotel gear as I managed to sell my 976 processor and amps. I hate to dissapoint forum members but I took a move to left field and spent big dollars on a Primare SPA20 ht receiver. From the first second I was happy. I won't go into details as this is a rotel lovers forum but if anybody is interested I can give my impressions. 8O

Congratulations Glen As big of a fan and supporter of Rotel as I am... I've got to say the thing that's most important is that you're happy with your gear and enjoying it

Well, I quitely added this TV to supplement my front projection since I saw real quickly that I was going to crank a lot of hours on my PJ in a hurry. It's an HDTV monitor, the following applies: (Extracted from Plasma Depot since it was actually better than Sony's writeup.) I won't address each feature...

      I ordered a Olevia 37" LCD display
      by Dean McManis
I figured that I'd be holding off on HT purchases for a while until I saw some of the black friday prices on LCD displays.

I got up at 6AM on Friday morning expecting that nobody would be out that early (OK I'm new to black friday shopping) and I saw that there were hundreds of people...

RT-1080 tuner - display is too dim
      by kneptune
I just traded in an early version of the current RT-1080 tuner (was black version) for a newer silver version of the 1080 tuner (had to make it match the silver RSP-1098 - for the all important WAF).

As per the RT-1080 owner's manual addendum, the newer 1080's display now functions slightly...
