Adding Sub to RB1080 for stereo?

    Hi all

Just a quick question really. I have heard that some people put a sub onto a stereo system. Is this possible?

I have the RC1070 and RB1080 and and I want to know if one can put a sub on this system? If yes, will it work properly?

Depending on the sub in question, you could use 1 of 3 options:

    1) connect the sub to the RC-1070's other pre-outs
    2) connect sub to RC-1070 and RB-1080 to filtered outs of Sub
    3) make speaker-level connection to sub from speaker terminals of RB-1080.

While I do not own a sub, I know that Bigburner is quite satisfied with option #2 in his system. You could PM him, but I'm sure that other people who have a sub setup will chime in.

    Hope this helps, Ben.

I use step #1 above - quite happy with result.
