My 1066 and 1075 has arrived!

So I just recieved my new gear tonight and it sounds great! Right out of the box and with no tweeking it still sounds fantastic. The best thing is that with the breakin time it will only sound better! I am so happy with these pieces. Off to go play with it... thanks to everyone for the input on making my choice as to what to buy. I am so glad I went seperates and got away from the reciever!

Congratulations Matt, and welcome to Club Rotel.

If this is your first experience with separates, you will certainly enjoy it.

Don't forget to perform your speaker calibration.

      Happy tweaking,

      Azeke

Congratulations on your purchase. You will definitely be happy with your upgrade. I did the same thing when moving from years of being a Denon receiver owner to moving to Rotel seperates.

I have listened to Krell and Lexicon recently in my upgrade induced fever. In the end I am going to stick with what I believe is the best equipment for the value which is Rotel!

Could you tell me where is a good place to buy Rotel equipment in the Kitchener area? I just moved here from Alberta and am considering upgrading my RSP 976 to a 1068 or 1098.

        Thanks,

        Mark

I sure can. There is only one place in the city that sells Rotel... Steve's TV. They are located right off of Franklin by the 86 south cut off in the Franklin Plaza. Try and talk to Mark. He's a great guy who is quite versed in audio gear. I don't know what kind of deal you could get on the 1068 but I am sure he could do something for you on a 1098.

P.S. - Let me know how you make out.

            New 1075/1066 Setup Question
            by semicane
Recently replaced my Yamaha 5.1 receiver with a 1075/1066 set up. My question is whether or not I can use my multi room speaker selector that use to run off my Yamaha A/B selector(B setting) off of the 1075 amp. The components sound awesome in my HT setup, but I had three sets of small speakers in...

            1066 no longer working, DAMN!
            by Patrick TX
I am at a loss here. My week old 1066 is no longer working. It has blue LED, but that's it. It's acting like it's asleep. I never use the Rotel remote, & it's in it's box. I use my Panamax 5300 to power down the 1075 & 1066 in sequence. The 1066 was working perfectly last night, & this morning,...

Rotel 1066 component video setup problem
            by mattstacey
            Hi guys,

I just replaced my Denon 3802 with a Rotel 1066 yesterday, hooked up to a Rotel 1075 amp. I haven't had much of a chance to listen to it yet but so far it sounds awesome.

I have a problem with my video connections though. I had no problems with the Denon 3802 so...

            ROTEL 1066/1075 vs. 1055/1070
            by doodleboytoy
I am strongly considering Rotel for my new HT setup due to the numerous positive reviews I read about it. Currently, my plan is to run Paradigm Studio 60 fronts, Studio CC and Studio ADP surrounds using either a Rotel 1066 + 1075 set-up or a 1055 set-up in a 25’ x 20’ room.

            RMB-1066 vs RSX-1055 vs RMB-1075 Amplifier Quality
            by fireteam
            Hi,

I was looking at some Rotel gear as an upgrade to my system. I am currently using a Marantz SR-780 to power a set of B&W CDM SE speakers (7's, 1's and a C). I've read that B&W's are notoriously hard to power and that Rotel amplifiers are recommended. I've never owned any Rotel...
