    currently 1067,1072,970 marantz dv7600 with bw htm7, yamaha ns1000
    should i go the rotel thought process and go with 1092 and 1091 or just add to the speakers now and then go back to the amplifiers

      In your case, definitely go with the speaker first. That 1067 still has a lot of potential left.

          aussie geoff thinks that i would need more amp if i go to bw 800 series ( thinking 802d) so upgrade to a 1092 to run fronts with the 1067?

              Ahh, different story. I had assumed you were getting some 700's to match the center. If going with the 802's, the 1092 will be needed.

                  If you take a look at the specs for these amps they show the wattge input on the 1092 at 600 watts and the output at 500 watts per channel. thats 1000 watts out nad 600 in, im no super scientist but that seems impossible. the 1092 specs also don't sate that this is with both channels driven. it's the...

                  Are any of you 802D owners thinking about auditioning/purchasing the Rotel 1091 or 1092 when they become available?

                  I'm particularly interested in this combination because it potentially makes 802D ownership more affordable.
