Rotel RA 1070 vs RX 1052

    Rotel RA 1070 vs RX 1052

    Hep me!...I own a Rotel RA 1070 and love it. But Hurricane Wilma decided she wanted it also. Rotel is showing the RX 1052 as their new version of this..(yes I know there are some differences)...but they are spec wise pretty close and both seem to push 100 watts of power a side ( I have B & W 803s's)...but why was the Rotel RA1070 around $1200 and the RX 1052 at about $800...That is a pretty dramatic price difference! Does the RX 1052 just not have what the RA 1070 has...? What am I missing?

      I haven't compared the two, but if you add in the fact the 1052 also has 4 zone support I would venture to guess it's not the same caliber as the 1070.

          Suggestions?
          Should I embrace the RX 1052..or go seperate with the RC 1070 & RB 1080? Or is the RB 1080 overkill?
