    Rotel 1066 ?

    Am considering the RSP-1066. Are there any audio drop out issues with it?

    Also was the double BM issue fixed or do you still have to perform the fix
    ?

      I don't know if you noticed, but Rotel is getting ready to ship its replacement the 1068. The 1066 is no longer produced and should be difficult to get a hold off. Only if you can get a good amount of discount, I would consider the 1066. For all else I would wait and take a look at the 1068.

      The resistor cut isn't done by Rotel from Factory. It can be done by your local distributor.

          Hi everybody

          I have just received the replacement for my 1066 a 1068 Processor. However when I switch it on the sound seems to fade in and out and I need to have the volume level at 60 and higher!!! To be quite frank my old 1066 blows it away at volume level 40 it is more than adequate......

          I know it's been brought up before...

          I have a 1066 and am curious as to what changes the 1068 has. Anything really worth "upgrading" for? Will there be much of a sonic difference (improvement)?

          Or is the 1066 to 1068 a pretty minor change?
