Hello everybody!
I'm about to make a purchase on a new media stand that will house my new plamsa TV as well as my Rotel and home theatre gear. I have, however, run into a problem. Both the Rotel 1056 and the Pioneer Elite Media Box recommend at least 4 inches of clearance around the components to cool effectively. I have yet to find a plasma stand that will allow for there to be this much clearance. The most I've been able to find is about 2-3 inches clearance on top with about 1-2 inches around the sides. Most offer even less than that. Anyone here have any experiences with the 1056 (or the Pioneer Elite media box for that matter) in a confined space? Am I going to fry the thing if I don't give it four inches all the way around to breathe? I need to pick up this stand today as my plasma is being delivered tomorrow. Any help is much appreciated!
