1098 video conversion

    1098 video conversion

    Hi,

    Im sending a PAL s-video signal into the 1098 and from there I have connected the projector on the component out (the 1098 is set as PAL in the menu aswell) but the picture that comes out on the projector is black and white. But if I connect the s-video cable directly to the projector I get color. Is there a defect here?

      I have trouble with the conversion possibilities of the RSP 1098.
      I connected a Satellite decoder to the RSP via a SVideo (mini DIN Cable) . I then use a SVideo link from "Monitor OUT Svideo" to a HT 1000 Projector, it works fine ..no conversion.

      I have encountered a problem when switching between sources on my RSP 1098. When I switch from watching an NTSC DVD (progressive scan component video input) to PAL video (S-video input), the component output from my 1098 is monochrome (black & white)!
      I can 'reset' this by entering the menu...
