    RC1989 HT Bypass

    Hi
I've searched the forum and couldn't find an answer. Does the RC1090 have a HT Bypass and how would i connect it to my existing system? I have a 1068/1075 combo and i would like to hook my cd player up straight to the 1090. Also does it have a zone 2? Any help would be appreciated.

Just checked the manual on Rotel's site and it looks like no to both!

that may help me make up my mind then. i was debating an rc1090/rb1090 combo and a musical fidelity a5 integrated. it needs to integrate into my ht setup which already consists of the 1068/1075.

Could you please tell me what type of connections are used between...

What to Buy: Rotel RSX 1067 or 1075/1068 combo
        by basementjack
Has anyone compared the big Rotel 1067 receiver to the 1068 preamp - paired with a 1075 power amp?

        I'm trying to decide between:

        RSX1067- $2100 - 7ch amp, tuner
        RSP1068/1075 - $2500 - 5ch amp, no tuner

the Preamp features are pretty much the same...

I'm running a Rotel RDV-1060 DVD to a Rotel RSP-1068 powered by a Rotel RMB-1075 playing on B&W 703s (fronts), 705s (rear), HTM7 (center), and ASW700 sub. The DVD player is connected by both analog RCA cables as well as digital coax.

Initially when I hooked it up there was no audio, but realized lata that I didn't have the volume up enough to hear it. I was at about 35db and it was bairly audible, it started getting a fair bit louder in...
