How many Rotel RX-1052 owners out there. What are your impressions of the unit? What components are you you using with it?

I just bought a RB-1080 power amplifier (not in yet) which I am going to coupled to a RX1052 receiver that will work as preamplifier. I delayed the purchase of a dedicated preamp just to reduce the pressure on my cash flow. My speakers are a pair of B&W 703.

Well I've had my NAD M51 for over a week so far using it everyday and I figured I'd post up some impressions and opinions on the DAC. First I will say that my unit is a factory (NAD) refurbished which saved a few hundred bucks on the unit. I ordered it from SpearIt Sound up in Massachusetts and they were top notice professional throughout the whole ordering process and are an authorized NAD Dealer. I just opened up my new C1 last night, and here's some early impressions:
- The unit is really good looking; the pictures do it justice. The chassis isn't as solid as some other controllers I've seen, and it's rather light for such a big (4RU) box. The top cover looks good with PARASOUND stamped

Due to a warrenty issue with my 1068 I am left with a 1070 for a loaner. As an enthusiast I certainly see this as a "glass half full" opportunity to live with a new piece of equipment.
I have it hooked up to a 1072 and 1077. I have to admit I am surprised at how much better...
