1066 Question on Component Video Switching

    Here is my problem:

By this weekend I will have 3 component video sources (DVD, HD Cable, and XBOX) however for a direct connection my TV only has 2 component jacks
How do I go about using and connecting the 3 sources to the 1066 and utilize component video switching

Thanks for all your input, no pun intended

I would connect the most important source (I assume HD cable or DVD) in to the TV directly. Then connect the other two to the inputs of the 1066 with a single set of cables from the 1066's output to the TV's second input.

RSP 1066: mixing video and audio
      by keiron99
I'm interested in purchasing a second hand RSP1066. I've downloaded the owner's manual but can't find the answer to my question. Is it possible to select different audio and video sources at the same time? For example, I often watch TV whilst listening to music, but then I may want to switch the TV...

      Hi all,

I am an owner of a 1098. I have an XBOX 360 with component out that I have plugged into the 1098. I am trying to get the picture BOTH on my projector through component, AND on the LCD display. The video out kit on the xbox has a switch to switch between HD (720p, 1080i or 1080p)...

Do you recommend that I use the 1066 for video switching?

Hi, I'm working on the design of a preamplifier at the moment and would like to know if anyone has found some really good relays for switching audio sources, or has come up with a better way to do it -at this stage, the plan is to incorporate some form of microprocessor control (which I'm pretty sure...
