RSP-985 Volume Control

    RSP-985 Volume Control

    My RSP-985 tends to make a scratchy/static noise when raising or lowering the volume control. IIRC it has done this from day one.

    Any other RSP-985 owners experience this? I was thinking of opening it up and spraying some Caig Calilub on the Volume pot or is this a bad idea? E-mailed Rotel a while back and received no response..
