Can someone clear this up for me?

This is related to DVD-A playback. I have an RSP-1066 with an RMB-1075 amp. My DVD player is a panasonic RP82. Speakers are Paradigm Studio 40, Studio CC, etc & SVS sub. I typically listen to 2 channel music and movies with the speakers set to small on the Rotel, crossed over at 80hz. How should this be set up when listening to DVD-A using the multi-input button? My DVD player has choices for small or large speakers in the multi-channel out section, so should these be set to large or small? How about my Rotel, large or small?

I'm new too, but as Rotel setting: Large = more bass to me. If your DVD Player has this option, I think you should set it to Large, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe someone else can give the answer.

I also have a 1066/1075 combination with Avalon monitor fronts, SVS sub and Denon 2910 universal player. For multi-channel music (DVD-A, SACD), bass management must be done through the DVD player as the 1066 mangement is disabled (input is direct) when the multichannel input is selected. I have all speakers set to small on both the 1066 and 2910 with the cross-over at 60Hz (the Avalons begin to roll off there).

        Speaker settings...Large/Small???
        by sdecker
I just bought a pair of Klipsch KG 5.2's. I now have 5.2's as my mains and surrounds and 4.2's as center surrounds. My center is a KG 2.2v.

The preamp is a Rotel 1055, with a Rotel 985mkII and a RB 1070 powering the speakers. Subs are 2 SVS 20-39's and a 25-31PCi.

        DVDA/SACD Connections to 1066
        by Mike Hayes
I am considering purchasing a Pioneer 563A ($180) universal player to replace my Toshiba SD5700. I am currently using just the digital connection (not using the 5 analog cables for DVDA). This will be my first experience with DVDA/SACD in conjunction with my 1066 so please bear with me.
