Does anyone know, why RB-1090 does not has 12V TRIGGER input ? I'm planning to get one near future, been reading alot about the RB-1090, but when I looked at the back panel drawing of the RB-1090 on Rotel site, it's does not show 12V TRIGGER input on its back panel, Is there a reason for it, not to be there on the RB-1090 ? I saw one on the RB-1080. Could this picture be the old version of the RB-1090 ? Can some of the RB-1090 owners tell me a little bit about this ? Thanks.
Why RB-1090 does not have 12V TRIGGER input ?

Nope, doesn't have it. The amps were redesigned years ago and they added 12v triggers. The 1090 didn't get one because it's not a huge seller and it wasn't worth redoing it.
Just use a line conditioner with a 12v trigger and you will be fine.

Just found out, from my local audio advice store, the 1090 is not a theater amp, it's an music amp, so it won't has trigger input as they know. Also I were thinking the same way as Kevin too, use a line conditioner to control it, but I have not decide between RB-1090/RB-1080 of which to go with.Originally posted by Kevin DNope, doesn't have it. by benjamjI know there have been several threads on 12v trigger issues, so I hope you will indulge me. I have an Onkyo receiver with pre-outs and 12v triggers for 2 additional zones. I am using an old 5-channel receiver to power those 2 zones, and have dedicated 2 channels per zone. The old received lacks a 12v... -
by pdr711My dealer said connect the cable from the IN on the 1080 to the 1 slot on the 1056. It does not work.
There are only two slots on the 1080-IN or OUT.
There are three slots on the 1056 1, 2, ZONE.
I have tried many different ways of connection and still get nothing. In the...-

by RichardBHi,
I have recently picked up a Rotel 1570/1575, and I am having a few problems with the 12v trigger between the 1570/1575. I am unable to get the 1575 to power on while using the trigger when turning the 1570 on. I have the trigger cable connected to trigger out 1 on the 1570, and the...-

by whmacsHi all,
I recently had a new home threatre installed which consists of my current Onkyo 787 receiver acting as a processor and new Rotel RMB-1075 and RB-1070 providing the amplification for a 7.1 setup (which sounds fantasic btw). The problem being that my Onkyo doesn't have a 12 volt trigger...-

by cmr15I've got a 1067 which runs rather hot, and I'm aware that that's the norm. I'm about to place it in a custom wall unit and need a little info regarding the use of fans and a 12v trigger.
What I'd like to do is use 2 accessory computer fans to circulate the air. One would pull in air...-
