2 Preamps into 1 Power Amp only

I consider buying a Benchmark DAC 1 and feed it straight into my Rotel RMB-1075. I have already hooked up the Soundprocessor, so there is no input left on the Power Amp side.

Is it possible to feed 2 Cinch Cables into the same Cinch In of the Power Amp?

Not without some sort of switch. You don't want to 'y' it in because of the feedback that would produce (and most likely smoke). What preamp are you using? It could have a 'bypass' mode that would basically route the full unaltered signal of the DAC through the preamp.

I am using the Arcam AVP700, it has a direct through. I still get the impression it is a bit laid back, but this might be the DV88plus.

The reason to connect directly into the Amp is more of a space problem I can't put the Benchmark 1DAC on top of the pre-amp, space is only on the power amp.

Anyhow I don't want to risk "smoke".
