    Two Subs with RSP1098

I'm running two DD-15 subs with my 1098. I hear both subs when I'm playing movies OR watching HD coming in with a Dolby Digital signal. But if I'm watching standard defn TV, playing my Playstation in ProLogic IIx I only here my first sub --- not both. When I do my test tones for the sub, I hear both. What gives?

Thanks in advance for your help.

If you reverse the two on the RCA outputs, does the problem move to the other sub? Sounds like there may be two paths to the outputs: 1) is straight from the LFE circuit and 2) is the output from the DSP chip. It's possible that the #2 link is broken on one of the sub outs. I really thought that they were parallel right at the jacks though...

Should be easy for Rotel to send you a new output card, but you could use a y-splitter off of the known good output for now.

Sometimes in the main menu under "subwoofer set-up" you will find the sub turned (triggered) off during certain surround modes.

It has taken some real effort but I’ve concluded that two Sunfire subs can be integrated into a high end system better than one. My vinyl buddy on the other hand has concluded that it is not possible. So, here we have two opinions and both are valid and true.

        The Sunfire sub offers...

        Hi Everyone,
I was playing a new DVD and found that in DTS it was Only playing my first sub I have, and was only allowing vocals and not that low frequency on my second Sub ??My Rotel 1060 plays all of my DTS DVDs and CDs correctly with both subs parallel in tone so I presumed the recording...

I might have a problem with my sub and RSP1098
        by Mikael
Can anybody tell me if this is normal..?When I use my sub and use the crossover filter in the RSP1098 the sub makes a popping sound every time the RSP1098 clicks from dolbydigital to 2ch and back, and when I change the input from cd to tuner and other settings?

CDM 1nt - with one sub, two subs, or upgrade speakers?
        by Dutch BW
I now listen to the CDM 1nt on their own, sounds really good but am missing bottem end frequencies. These speakers go down to 60hz, as a reference a 805s reaches 49hz.

        Would it be wise to:

a - Ad one good sub (for instance a asw700)
b - Ad two subs but a bit less...

Hello all! It has been a while but I figured I'd come back to the experts. I've been enjoying my DIY subs since 2005. If you do not recall, here is my project:
