Is it possible to connect a DVD player directly to my Rotel amp, bypassing my stereo receiver? I will lose bass & treble control though...... correct?
This might be a stupid question.

Audio Freak 7,
Yes you can do it for stereo or (if your DVD has 5.1 outputs) you can also connect this way for movies etc. Normally however you loose volume control - everying is at the same (usually loud) level - unless you have one of the rare DVD players with a volume control on their line level outputs..
