    New Member says hello

    Hello Everyone
    I just received my 1056 and 1060 today and I am in heaven, however most people know that there is never enough bass. I am running Bose speakers matched (701 front, 301 rear, center) looking for a sub rec to go along with my new purchase.) thank you

              Congratulations and welcome to Club Rotel!

              I don't mean to be rude, but Rotel and Bose?!! Budget permitting, you may have to look at some different speakers.

                      thank you everyone for the welcome. I do have one question, why is everyone against Bose product? Am I missing something?

                          I'll start if first: a large part of the price of their products, goes to marketing, and not to quality parts, R&D, etc. They are overpriced compared to what they offer.

                              If your speakers sound good to you that's all that matters, but as thyname stated, Bose is a good marketer of speakers to the masses so that is mostly what you are paying for - marketing. Listen to some B&W's (600 series), Totem rainmakers, Paradigm, etc. all in the same price range and see what you think.
