    I am proud to announce a new arrival

    Yes, indeed my new RSX 1056 was installed today!

    I have spent some time listening and know that 100 odd hours of running in is needed to get her up and running properly, but the soundstage is lovely, and I have heard some extras in movies that I did not hear on my old Denon 1602.

                  Good choice. I too went from an entry level denon reciever to a Rotel receiver (RSX 1055) and I know the satisfaction you are now hearing!

                          After one day

                          Today when at work I left her playing a local radio station, so she had about 10 hours before I spent some time enjoying some music.

                          Today she sounded a bit sweeter and not as sharp as yesterday. I just enjoyed a wall of sound in front of me and at one stage stood up to see if the centre speaker was playing! I am looking forward to enjoying a movie tomorrow night.
