I have finally got an answer to this question. The national importer confirmed that their "zone 2" players accually where zone free!! Strange, but confirmed...

Yes, They have been codefree since their first player the RDV-985.

My DVD player has started to player when I tried to use it yesterday.
Turn it on and the "welcome Rotel DVD zone" pops up on the screen.
It then fades to a "Rotel" sign followed by the "welcome Rotel DVD zone" again. It just repeats the same thing... -

Hi all,
Could anyone tell me the difference, if any, when playing a CD on the RDV1060 compared to the RCD1072. I was enquiring about the RCD1072 and the salesman advised me to rather go with the RDV 1060.
