    RMB-1075 vs RB-1080

    New to Rotel products, intended purchaser
    Processors, speakers and power aside.

    For straight two channel stereo does one model perfrom better over the other.

    The 1075 would be set up as 5.1

    or alternatively the 1080 would drive the front channels with a second amp driving remaining in 5.1 (Initially the 5.1 AVR Receiver)

          I've currently got an RMB1075 and an RSP1066 with Definitive Technology speakers. I've ordered some new towers for the main L/R (Def Tech 7001SC's) which should be a considerable upgrade from my current towers (Def Tech ProTower 400's). I am going to move my ProTower 400's to the rear.

          Upgrading RMB1075

          I currently have the Rotel RMB1075 and wish to upgrade. My choices are (1) keep the 1075 and buy a Rotel RB1080 for my fronts (Paradigm Studio 60s) , or (2) trade in the 1075 on a RMB1095. Suggestions on the better option will be trule appreciated. I listen mostly to classical music (really).

          Need help!
          My RMB1075 is driving my Sur, Front and Center and RB1050 drives back Sur. my fronts are CDM9NT. I do run 7.1 setup for HT and stereo for music, I have noticed that my 9NTs don't have allot of life in stereo mode. Spoke to my Rotel dealer and he agrees that 9NTs require more power....
