    Different 1095 Versions

    Hello All,

I have been looking to add a second Rotel Amp to my system. I currently own a 1080 and would like to add a 1095. I notice that the 1095 has a 12V trigger (as per Rotel web site) and I am currently looking at one that does not have this feature. Did Rotel produce more than one version of this amp. Thanks a lot folks.

I've noticed this too - I can only guess its old and new revisions, the newer having a 12volt trigger i/p.

As far as I knew, all the 1095s had the 12v trigger???? That's really odd, must be one of the very very very first ones?

        Two types of 1095's

There are two types of 1095's. I bought mine in December 2000. They came in black only and did NOT have a 12v trigger. Shortly after Rotel launched their 10 series components, the 1095 then came with the 12v trigger as well as the silver face option. Hope this helps.

                by TonyL
Am new to Club Rotel and recently purchased RSP-1098 and RMB-1095. Would like to use 12v trigger from 1098 to 1095. I searched the forum for info on the trigger cable with little success.

Can someone tell me where I can get the 12v trigger cable. Is there anything special about attaching...

My 1095 amp has been acting a little weird lately...I'll explain:

I have it in combo with the 1066, and connected with the 12V trigger line. Recently I noticed it feels warm all the time, even when the system is turned off by the 1066. So I started to investigate. Turns out I can even...

                RMB-1095 Won't Power Up
                by Fargo
                Hello,

Went to turn on the RMB-1095 the other day and it would not power up. Normal start-up sequence is for the power indicator to light (blue LED) after the power switch is pushed in. Next, all five channel over-current protection indicators light (red LED) and then after a few seconds...

                1 x RMB-1095 vs 3 x RB-1080?
                by hired goon
                G'day,

I've currently got an RMB-1095 5x200w amp, about 2 weeks old. For a few hundred dollars, I can trade this in to get 3 x RB-1080 2x200w amps.

I'm wondering about the advantages and disadvantages of such a move.

This is what I've come up with:
