    1066 Not Remembering Settings

When utilizing the 1066 in 2 channel I set my speakers to Large Sub: No
For DD and DTS all speakers Small and Sub: Yes
So when changing material the 1066 does not remember each setting it reverts to what ever the last setting was
Can the 1066 automatically remember a setting for DD/DTS and a different stereo setting?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I don't think it can. I think the speaker settings are global. Please someone else correct me if I am wrong.

      Correct, mazuly.

Installing any of the more recent firmware versions will solve your problem, luszer. You would then be able to keep the speaker settings to Small and sub=Yes full time, but be able to listen to 2-channel full range (equivalent to Large) with no sub by going into Sub Setup and setting Stereo=Off. The catch is to use an analog hookup for 2 channel.

So even with a firmware update, currently running 2.2.2, it still requires changing something through the OSD? I do use analog connection for 2 channel and coax for DD/DTS 5.1.

You need 2.24 or higher. Once you have one of those firmware, you only need to go into the OSD one time to make your settings, which is to turn the subwoofer level setting for stereo to OFF, and set all your speakers to SMALL and sub to YES. That's it. No more fussing each time you change from 2-ch to DD/DTS.
