    Pairing a RC-1070 with an Adcom GFA-555

    Hello

    I'm looking for a replacement for my dying Adcom GTP-400 and i'm considering purchasing the Rotel RC-1070 Preamp. I will be running
    it with an Adcom GFA-555 amplifier and Vandersteen 2C speakers.
    Is anyone on this forum running a 1070 with an Adcom amp and if
    so how do you like the sound of this combination.

      I'm a bit confused on the technical hook up the Vandersteen 2Wq to a Rotel RSX-1065. It seems they do some sort of preamp off load to change the crossover and then back into the integrated amp. The repsonse I got for Vandersteen was:

      THE 2WQ CAN ONLY BE USED WITH INTEGRATED AMPLIFIERS...
