    The new 11xx series?

    Being new to Rotel, I don't know what historically had triggered Rotel to change the series, from 9xx to 10xx. Can someone enlighten me?

    I see the upcoming digital amps remain 10xx series, wouldn't that have been an opportunity to go for 11xx amps and receivers? Or maybe the future hd-dvd or blu-ray high capacity players? Or maybe audio formats requiring more than 7 channels? Something else?

    It's probably a closely garded secret, to avoid dips in sales, but if you've got some hypotheses, please share them!
