should the on screen display work from any video output from my pre-amp to my monitor or is something that i have to activate, i tried using an s-video with no luck, the rest of the fucntions work well, im still trying to figure most of this stuff out since im a new to home theatre

I am running component video to my projector (Dish Network and Xbox) and a HDMI cable from the OPPO BDP-83 to the projector. I have an S-video cable routed in the wall between the RSP-1066 and the projector but have never used it.
