Has anyone tried a tube pre-amp with their Rotel CD player and power amp?

Back in November I had the chance to hear a Sonic Frontier Line One tube pre-amp with a RCD-1072 cd player,RB-1080 amp and B&W DM604S3. This combo sounded pretty sweet.The 604's vanished in the room.Huge soundstage and solid imaging.Very nice sounding combo. :T -

I have a Adcom GFP 710 preamp, Rotel RB 1080 power amp, and B&W CDM 9NT speaker. After 2 weeks of listening, although the Adcom + Rotel is much much better than my Denon receiver, I found it is sometimes too bright, and kind of tiring or fatigue to listen to. Also, for the preamp, I can't get... -
