Rotel CD player and AMP with Tube pre-amp

Has anyone tried a tube pre-amp with their Rotel CD player and power amp?
This is a two channel setup.

Back in November I had the chance to hear a Sonic Frontier Line One tube pre-amp with a RCD-1072 cd player,RB-1080 amp and B&W DM604S3. This combo sounded pretty sweet.The 604's vanished in the room.Huge soundstage and solid imaging.Very nice sounding combo. :T
