New DVD Player?

Hi All, there has been some information (and probably some misinformation) floating around about Rotel's plans to release a new DVD player later this year. I'd like to get a new DVD player at some stage this year.

SACD isn't important to me, so whether or not Rotel's new player is a universal doesn't matter to me. I could get the RDV-1060, but all of the stories of DVD-A bugs worries me. I know the newer 1050 does not seem to have these bugs, so it is likely that a replacement for the 1060 would also have most (all?) of the 1060's bugs ironed out.

Does anyone have info on Rotel's plans to release a new player?

They plan to release a new DVD player with HMDI but wouldn't tell me of they plan on releasing it with SACD capability.

too late for me

after long time waiting for a Rotel DVD player that has digital out and SACD, I decided to look somewhere else. I now bought a Denon 2910 and am very please with it.
From a design point of view, it even fits more or less with the Rotel 10 series.

Cheers Mark & Ed, I will naturally look at my options (and I know the Denons are popular), but as I am not in a hurry I would like to wait for and check out this player first.

Andrew & Aussie Geoff, do you know anything about an upcoming player (release date, features etc.)?
