    A new multiplayer from Rotel?

    Hi!

    I've heard rumors of that rotel sonn is to release a new multidisc-player.....
    Sre there anyone here that know something about this? I'm very interested!!!

      You mean we will be able to listen to hiss in stereo, SACD, and DVD Audio. Can't wait!!!

          this rumor will probably get squashed pretty quick again by somebody "in the know". i think we'll all keep waiting...

              This would be a good thing as My Pioneer Elite dv47a is on the choping block. It would be very nice for Rotel to Release a SACD/DVD AUDIO DVD player... I'm all about it.

                  Soft (and loud!) hiss from your speakers with C1/A51?

                  I'm trying to troubleshoot a *hiiisss* emanating from the speakers when the C1 and A51 are connected and powered up. At a steady state (no inputs playing), the hiss is actually quite loud ... one can hear it from all 5x speakers quite clearly, even from a distance of 10'!

                  I have a Rotel RC-1070 pre, RB-1070 amp, RCC-1055 changer & B&W 804N speakers and ASW800 sub. I can hear an audible hiss from my 804N tweeters when ther is no source playing. If I turn the pre off the hiss is gone. Any ideas how to get rid of the hiss? Would upgrading to the RC-1090 pre...
