Is there any one here that own one?

Is it worth it or better with combo or integrated??

I bought an RX-1052 and RCD-1072 about 2 months ago. I don't listen to radio much and had gone to the store with the intention of buying the RA-1062 but these two pieces had just come back (about a month old) in an upgrade trade-in and I got them both for a couple hundred less than what the RA-1062 and RCD-1072 would have cost me new.

I haven't been able to find any reviews of the RX-1052 anywhere either. I think it sounds great (my B&W 620i speakers have a whole new lease on life) but since what I got replaced a 20-year-old Yamaha A-500 integrated and a cheapo JVC CD player, I suppose anything would sound like a major improvement to me.

Anyway, for basic 2-channel listening, which is all I care about, I think it works great, and I don't hear anything missing that separates in the same price range might provide.

      Q re Pre-amp sections of RA1062 and RC1070
      by ds22030
I am disassembling my HT system and going back to a receiver for HT. I am using the various components (including my main speakers and RB-1080) for a separate 2-channel music system....this means I need a good 2 channel pre-amp.

Does anyone know if the pre-amp sections of RA1062 and...

Getting static sound from right channel with Rotel RA1062/RCD1072
      by NicholasT
I just purchased a Rotel RA-1062 integrated amp with the RCD-1072 CD player. I connected them to a pair of Pennaudio Rebel 2 speakers with Audioquest Type 4 speaker cable. I have all the components connected to a PS Audio Juice Bar outlet. I played a some CDs on the first day and it seemed to be...

      Integrated or amp/pre

      Currently i have the ra1062 powering my b&w 7nt. Only 60 watts.

I have been advised that i am under powered. However, budget is a real issue for me.

So, where would i be better off:

      1) running the ra1062 with a rb1070

      2) trading up my...

      RX1052 as preamp with RB1080
      by b&w fan
I just bought a RB-1080 power amplifier (not in yet) which I am going to coupled to a RX1052 receiver that will work as preamplifier. I delayed the purchase of a dedicated preamp just to reduce the pressure on my cash flow. My speakers are a pair of B&W 703.

      Do you think that using...

      Hi all,

Maybe this is not the place to discuss this, but I have quite a problem on my hands. A couple of months ago I got me the RDV1040 at an excellent price. My aim was to go for the RCD1072, but I had budget constraints. Times have changed and I am in business for the RCD1072. However,...
