    Upgraded firmware 2.6 did not alleviate my concerns...

    Hi all,

    As an update to my original posting "New Member, New Rotel RSX-1055 (giving my humble opinion)", I downloaded the firmware and upgraded my receiver. Everything went smoothly. However, the issues I listed in my posting have not been solved. They still exist. UGH. No biggie I guess...

      If you don't like the unit, return it back and get the Denon!!!

              i got a lil question about the RSX-1065 - can anyone tell me the actual firmware release number for this receiver ? is it still 1.57 ?

              How to find out on the receiver ? anything wrong if it is a 2.24 ? or is this a "old" machine only upgraded...

              I often follow the rule "Don't fix what ain't broken" and i really didn't have any reason for upgrading the firmware for my RSP-1068, everything worked fine, I think it was version 1.1.9.

              I never has been pleased with the stereo performance except in "analog bypass"....
