I tried Musical Fidelity tube buffer X-10 V3 with rcd-1072 last night. Music now is awesome. Wide soundstage, clean, more detail...I'm in no way an audiophile, but i like the pair and i can hear the difference when playing CD through rcd-1072 with and without tube buffer.
It seems to me that i'm listening to live music.... rcd-1072 itself is an excellent cd player already, but with this tube buffer, i won't ask for more...
My next step will be new floor standing speakers . I like Totem Forrest...but it's expensive...
Anyway, just want to share my experience with you all.
