RSP-1066s + RMB-1075 crackling sound while starting from standby

    Hi folks,

I'am new in this community and also have a little problem with my new Rotel-Combo. When i switch on the preamp (wich is connected to the power-amp via triggercable) from standby, then there is a crackling sound from the speakers. The Rotel Support does not have any idea. Could you help me????

Divide and conquer works well, you could turn the power amp trigger switch to "off", then leave the RSP-1066 off, and manually turn the amp on and see what you get. Then work your'e way back until you discover the culprit.

      Hello guys,

Just wondering is it Ok to leave my RSP1068/RMB1075 combo in standby mode while I am either asleep or gone to the office? I am using the 12V trigger switches on these units and thus find it a pain to be "maunally" pressing the power buttons.

      I guess...

My old RSX-1055 has developed an annoying issue, probably a year ago now, and it seems it won't fix itself What happens is there's occational crackling noise coming out of the left speaker. It's most prominent shortly after turning the unit on, and usually starts going away...

Soooo I watched the Super Bowl on Sunday and everything was fantastic. No issues.

Fire up the system last night and there is this terrible crackling. No mids, woofers sounded fine, tweeter loud and crackling. So I begin the back checking process.

      Speakers ok? Check...
