    2 Channel on 1067

    Hello All,

If I have 2 channel PCM coming into the multis (FR, FL) on the 1067 from my DVD-A player (using only a 2 channel CD), should I be seeing 120/channel, or are all 7 channels being driven anyway? (all the speaker indications are active, since it's multi) -

Secondary question to that is that as I have no 6th/7th speakers connected, do I need to worry or can the 1067 detect that there's no load on those channels?

    Thanks,
    Lars

You should be able to go into the set up and assign the speakers available, there will be no load detection to activate certain configurations, it's all via the set up menu's.

      Lars,

I asked rotel this same questions. You're getting 120 watts. Doesn't matter which two channels you choose - all are capable of 120 watts, just not all at the same time.
