In swapping around cables the other day, I managed to have lost a channel on my 1075. Imagine my surprise when I discovered there were no external fuses on the back panel. The fuses...all TEN of them are mounted internally! Call me old-school, but what a hassle unhooking half a dozen wire harnesses to get to the fuses. Are ALL of the newer amps designed this way? (Both 2ch and multi-channel) And why? tia...steve

You did turn off and unplug the amp before moving things around right??
I think that's step one in the manual.
Some of the amps have external fuses, but that's mainly for the power supply inputs.. Besides the 1080, usually if an internal fuse blows it needs to be taken down and checked out anyway to find out why..

by belzarrathLast week I blew two fuses in my RB985. The fuses are to old to read.
I believe they are a 6amp 125volt porcelian fuse. I do not know if they are fast or slow blow fuses, I assume it is fast blow.
Can anyone verify the type of fuses which I need. I am also having trouble finding...-
